Back in the desert! I could not be more thrilled. I can finally break out my Chacos. Of course, Stuart has been kicking himself for not bringing his. I was excited to show Stuart Moab. I've spent quite a bit of time here, but Stuart had never been. We camped on the Colorado River, sandwiched between steep rising red rocks. Not far from town, we explored a bit. Stuart's favorite was the giant rock and fossil shop that we found. Even though we didn't go into to Arches National Park, we explored the rocks a little. Stuart wanted to see the "Lion's Back" rock structure, so we were able to do that. I also showed Stuart the giant sandhill I climbed as a kid. By far my most favorite feature of Moab. We only passed through, spending a night in our sweet campsite. Not far from SLC, we headed back up the following day in search of snow again!
